1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GateMate — including our website at gatemate.net, our mobile application, or any beta program — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use GateMate.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use GateMate. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. Your Account

When you create a GateMate account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and truthful profile information
• Maintaining the security of your account and password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized account access at info@gatemate.net

You may not create accounts on behalf of others or use another person's account without permission.

3. Acceptable Use

GateMate is designed to facilitate genuine, respectful connections between people sharing physical spaces. You agree to use GateMate only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe on others' rights.

You may not use GateMate to:

• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm other users
• Share false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Post or share content that is sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory
• Spam other users with unsolicited messages or requests
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on the platform
• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law

4. GateLinks & Events

GateLinks are temporary shared spaces tied to real-world events or locations. During the beta period:

• GateLinks are created exclusively by QAlytics LLC for approved events
• GateLink codes are intended for use by attendees of the associated event only
• Sharing a GateLink code publicly or outside its intended context is prohibited
• We reserve the right to close or archive any GateLink at any time

GateMate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any venue, artist, sports team, airline, or event organizer unless explicitly stated.

5. Beta Program

GateMate is currently in beta. By participating you acknowledge that:

• The app may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features
• Features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly
• We may collect feedback and usage data to improve the product
• Beta access does not guarantee continued access after the beta period
• Any promotional offers (such as complimentary beverages at launch events) are subject to availability and may be modified or withdrawn at any time

6. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you post on GateMate, such as your profile photo or bio. By posting content, you grant QAlytics LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating GateMate.

The GateMate name, logo, brand, and all associated intellectual property are owned by QAlytics LLC. GateMate™ is a registered trademark. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of GateMate is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using GateMate, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Blocking, Reporting & Enforcement

We take user safety seriously. You may block or report any user at any time from within the app. We reserve the right to:

• Investigate reports of abuse or violations of these Terms
• Suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms
• Remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice
• Cooperate with law enforcement when required by law

9. Disclaimers

GateMate is a tool for facilitating connections — we are not responsible for the nature or outcome of interactions between users.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QAlytics LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of GateMate, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of GateMate shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months prior to the claim — which during the free beta period is zero dollars ($0).

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as GateMate grows. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify beta users via email where required. Continued use of GateMate after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
